Arsenal offer Tevez-Nasri transfer swap

According to several UK media outlets, Wenger has offered Manchester City the opportunity to swap Carlos Tevez for Samir Nasri.

Both players want to leave their respective clubs, so the transfer offer is a sensible one in many ways, even though it is still very unlikely to occur.

Tevez has stated in the past that he would like to move closer to his family and moving to London isn't really all that much closer. Another factor would be that Tevez is valued higher than Nasri and would have high wage demands that Arsenal may find difficult to match. So I have to say I have some reservations about the likelihood of the deal.

What I wanted to ask is whether you feel that getting Tevez would sufficiently strengthen Arsenal and make us more competitive in the title race? Please comment and let me know. First game of the season today!

Id rather have Nasri stay!. I mean Teves is great but hes like a child if his hearts not in it he wont perform to the best of his capabilities! In terms of Nasri,, I hope he stays!

Just offer Tevez and his former Brazilian club the opportunity to allow him to return in the January transfer window and give Arsenal what they can afford. If Nasri is truly valued lower, then Arsenal can pay Man city the balance. This would allow arsenal to have Tevez who hopefully would be out to prove that he can outgun Kun in first term, and lots of money to spend for next half of season...
