Impressive Arsenal thrashes on-form Newcastle at the Emirates

Arsenal’s start stop campaign continued. When they are form, Arsenal are a formidable force. Newcastle just like Galatasaray were left wobbling after getting thrashed by the Gunners. Two goals apiece by Cazorla and Giroud were enough to finish the job.

Arsenal were impressive on the day. They displayed an entertaining performance accompanied by a plethora of attacks on the opponent’s goal. That what the fans like. Even with a makeshift defense that looked nervy at times, the Gunners decimated almost all the attacks that came from the Magpies.

What has been lacking this season in this Arsenal side is consistency. With this win, Arsene Wenger will be desperate that the team capitalizes on this performance to get positive results in the remaining games.
